We have been running an Employee of the Month award over the last year in the Technical department, and it has proved a great success in identifying exceptional performance in the Service team.
When the scheme was launched a year ago we also decided that there would be an Employee of the Year award, that would go to the Service Employee who received the greatest number of nominations from fellow work colleagues throughout the year.
With great pleasure, we would like to announce that the winner of the Employee of the Year (2016 – 2017) is Rob Smith.
Rick Downing, Service Manager (Print Management division) had the following to say:
Rob is probably one of the most helpful and hardworking engineers I have had the pleasure of working with in my 30 years in the Copier/Print Industry.
Nothing is ever a problem for Rob. Every task requested is carried out with the same amount of accuracy and attention to detail and it is not unusual to receive emails late into the evening from Rob, where he will be passing on data being retrieved from our Monitoring Software relating to Toner Orders and Faults, ensuring these are dealt with as early as possible the next day.
Rob is a very worthy winner of this award and a great ambassador for the Service Division at CCS.
Rob, himself, was chuffed to find out that he had not only been a finalist but had actually gone on to be the winner:
I am immensely pleased to have received Employee of the Year as it was nominated by my work colleagues, many of whom would have been worthy of this award. Corona is a very progressive company, providing exceptional service to our clients, and I am really proud to be part of the team.
Our new year has started again this month and we look forward to celebrating the great achievements made by members of the Technical team each month.
