In the 7th edition of our Meet the Team series, where we’re getting to know one member of Corona each month, we met with Marc Lucas, one of our Field Service Engineers on the Print Management team.
“My name is Marc Lucas, I’ve been in the copier industry since the early 90’s – the technology has improved dramatically since then! I’ve worked at Corona for around 5 years now.
I have two younger sisters, Emma & Katy and I’ve been married for 8 years to Tammy, we don’t have any children yet but in time who knows! Tammy is a Sister at a local hospital and she works in the community caring for stroke patients at home. She finds this very rewarding.
In my spare time I like pottering around in the garden and, generally, being outdoors is my favourite way to spend my weekends – down at the coast or going for riverside walks (especially when the weather’s nice!).
This photo was taken in Sorrento, Italy on a recent holiday. We stayed in an old converted monastery surrounded by 1000 olive trees and very much enjoyed exploring the local area.
Favourite singers / groups – Kylie Minogue, always had a poster of her on my bedroom wall back in the family home!
Favourite Songs / Albums – Michael Jackson – Bad, one of the best albums ever (IMHO)
Favourite Films – Train Spotting, very dark at times but an awesome portrayal of inner city Glasgow/Edinburgh in the 90’s also love Dumb & Dumber, so daft but highly amusing.
Favourite actor / actress – Morgan Freeman, you know you’re in for a treat if he’s involved.
Favourite TV shows – Has to be Only Fools & Horses, even now when it’s on still makes me laugh.
Favourite Holiday destination – My fondest memories are holidaying in Cornwall with the family & of course my honeymoon in The Maldives a close 2nd
Favourite Drink – A cold beer with the sun on my back.
Favourite Food – The wife & I do enjoy a good meal out, a simple well-cooked fillet steak.
Favourite Books / Authors Can’t remember the last time I read a book, most likely at school!
Favourite animal – Myself & my sisters kept Guinea pigs as kids & can still hear their funny little squeaks now!
I love that working for Corona one feels like part of the family, especially during the numerous social gatherings!”
