Four rounds of golf in a single day is a challenge, even for professionals with a superb handicap, but that’s exactly what four of our team will be doing to raise money and awareness in aid of a great cause.

The golf challenge is to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Team Corona is made up of four players- Marcus Rossa, Paul Smith, Dominic Kennett and Paul Nye.

The team will tee off at dawn on the 21st June at Stevenage Golf & Conference centre, aiming to complete four rounds of golf in a single day. They hope to complete the first two rounds fairly quickly, then play on until all 72 holes have been completed. In addition to this the team will also be carrying out ‘fun holes’ throughout the day with small prizes available to the winners. Taking into consideration that one round normally takes 4 hours to complete the team will be looking at playing for a full 16 hours straight and walking 24+ miles – A marathon in itself.

Macmillan provides physical, financial and emotional support to people living with cancer. Offering advice on treatments, money and work matters for patients and their families.

The team are aiming to raise £500, if you wish to donate you can do so by checking out the teams fundraising page:

We wish the lads every success on the day – keep checking back for updates.
