Corona is all about making things happen. This is our motto inside and outside of the office. Where we can, we try to help charities and groups that our valued staff are connected to, so when our COO, Gary Bishop, reached out to ask for sponsorship of this season’s kit for a local kids football team that he and his family are a part of, we were happy to assist.

Recently, Gary gave us a short interview about it:

“Corona is most definitely about work hard and play hard. This is a message that I instil, in my spare time as a FA affiliated Coach, with the team that I manage. It’s a local club to me in Harlow Essex, called Bocas FC, its motto being ‘Jono Bonito’ – ‘The Beautiful Game’.

Bocas FC are affiliated with Chelsea FC and many boys and girls are invited to train and play for the Chelsea Youth academy.

I have managed and coached for the last two years. This year I’m coaching the Under 8 Tigers, these kids are of intermediate ability so its great to work with them and see them develop both their footballing and interpersonal skills.

Proudly wearing the CCS logo, the U8 Tigers have done themselves and Corona proud this season winning 13 out of 15 league games and have been promoted into the league above.

The team work, synergy and sheer enjoyment created by this team and club is fantastic and I’m proud to be able to help these kids develop their confidence, character, football skills and Sportsmanship.”
