Corona supports local community project

When our Chief Operating Officer, Gary Bishop mentioned that the football club his children attend was looking for sponsorship for their Changing Lives Community project, we were delighted to support them.

SK Sports Academy provide after school specialist school sports sessions and activity camps for Early Years, Key Stage 1,2 & 3 focusing on improving children’s physical and social development, the sessions are really popular in the local community.

Their Changing Lives project is a Community Interest Group that supports vulnerable children from being exploited by gangs in local primary & secondary schools.

The objective is to create social, sporting and work experiences that will install confidence and motivation for these children providing them with opportunities and pathways towards a positive future.

The project has the support of the County Council and we have partnered with Essex Police, NHS, Link Asset and other local sporting groups.

Ben Doyle, Director at SK Sports Academy commenting on Corona’s sponsorship:

The Changing Lives community interest group would like to thank CCS for supporting the project. Their sponsorship will contribute greatly towards the maintenance and sustainability of the project in hand positively effecting the personal development of the children that we educate at our centre. Without the support of companies such as CCS we will not be able to run our program efficiently and for this the community thanks your contribution … The funds will go towards sports equipment, facility hire, coaching staff and education

You can find more information about the project on their YouTube channel

The team are doing fantastic work and we are proud to sponsor the project.
