Some of our engineers were recently able to enjoy an exhilarating day at the Rugby thanks to our long term partner, Ricoh.

The match between Gloucester and Coventry based ‘The Wasp’s’ took place at Kingsholm ruby stadium in Gloucester.

The team were treated to drinks and a meal in the suite followed by a Q&A with South African player, Gerbrandt Grobler before soaking up the thrilling pre match atmosphere.

The Wasps started the game well and took an 11 nil lead before Gloucester woke up and got back in the game, taking the lead at half time 14-11. Two more tries and a penalty followed for Gloucester putting them firmly in the lead, Wasps had a brief glimmer of hope with a solitary penalty but it wasn’t enough to pull the game back in their favour. Gloucester took the game with a final score of 27-14.

Nick Thomas, field engineer and loyal Gloucester fan commented on the day:

A big thank you to James Stephens for arranging this with Ricoh and a big thank you to Ricoh as well for a great day out.

A few more drinks followed before the team rounded of the day and headed their separate ways.

Well done to Gloucester for a great win.
