Last year we were delighted to share with you that our founder, James Stephens’ son, Zach, had won the fourth annual ‘Dubrovnik DUD Bowl’, a well renowned international Tennis championship held in Croatia.
Well, we’re even more pleased to announce that Zach has just one won another major, prestigious international tournament, the Boys Under 12 event at the ‘Little Mo’ tournament, held in Florida, USA.
The tournament, now in it’s 11th year, features more than 450 boys and girls age 8-12 from 50 countries, hoping to join former champions such as Madison Keys, Taylor Fritz, Donald Young, Steve Johnson and Andy Roddick.
Beating off 31 other talented youngsters in his category, Zach achieved a triumphant victory over his opponent in the final with a 6-1, 6-2 score.
James was courtside throughout the 4 day tournament, supporting Zach, and the entire Stephens family and all the team at Corona are extremely proud of Zach’s achievement.
The “Little Mo” tournaments are in memory of Maureen Connolly, the first woman to win the Grand Slam in 1953 — winning all four major tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open) in the same year — at the age of 18.
Connolly was also known for her good sportsmanship on and off the court, and the tournament offers colorful “Mo Coins” to players who display good sportsmanship and are respectful and kind.

No doubt we will be hearing about Zach’s achievements again as a blossoming talent in the sport, so watch this space!
